Places to checkout on the Isle of Wight!

This week we've been exploring the Island a bit more to remind ourselves of what an amazing place we live on, with this we made a list of locations to checkout, whether you've lived here for your whole life, or are visiting for a week.

1. Compton Bay
Compton is a beautiful beach, with cliff-side views for miles, its really a one-of-a-kind spot to sit down, relax and enjoy yourself. Or for the more extreme of you, you could go searching for fossils to try to make a small-fortune (you never know!)

2. Sandown Pier
Sandown Pier was opened on the 29th of May 1878, with numerous upgrades being done over the past century. Its an incredibly memorable part of the Island and we highly recommend going to have a look around. The seafront is just as beautiful so you can't go wrong!

3. Cowes High Street
This one may not surprise you considering this is Shipmates home but it really is incredible, everyone is super friendly and the high street is thriving with new life. Including new Bakery's, Cafes, eco-friendly clothes shops and more! Not only that but Cowes Week and right around the corner and you don't want to miss out on that!

4. Newtown Creek
If you prefer more of an adventure then look no further than Newtown Creek! Newtown is booming with wildlife, you'd be surprised what you can find out there. Its a lovely walk with an even better view. We can't recommend it more.
