Weekly updates! 3/4/21

Ahoy there!

This is what we intend to be the first of many updates, posted weekly. We hope to be able to provide as much transparency with you all at possible relating to shipping, new products, new features of the online store and much more! 

We know a lot of customers like to interact with buying something, be in the know of where it's coming from and that is important to us too so we want to use this space to communicate with you all.

This week we are switching from Royal Mail to DPD as our delivery service for many reasons. The main focus being that they are working towards being 100% sustainable, reducing their carbon footprint where possible, much like we are doing our bit too reduce plastic, and offer eco-friendly products. The second reason being it will hopefully mean we can offer cheaper postage rates on our bigger items such as Paddleboards!

We've also been working on a new service to offer to all Isle of Wight residents - Paddleboard hire! Offering competitive rates with local pickup and delivery you'll be able to pick the day you would like to get out on the water, pay at checkout then simply pick it up that day. This is a great option for beginners or just those looking for a fun day out with friends!

We have also recently done a simple design change with the colour scheme and navigation of the website to make it more user-friendly!

Work has begun to get the physical store ready to reopen on the 12th so we're very excited for that also!
